  • Homebrewed is a local apartment-based film lab owned and operated by Fort Myers native Alexander Kilpatrick.

    After years of shooting film, working at your favorite labs and developing and scanning my own film, I sought out to offer a more affordable option without sacrificing quality.

    While not a traditional brick and morter store, Homebrewed partners with other businesses to bring convienient dropboxes to the area and film is picked up on Fridays / weekends to ensure quick turnarounds.

  • Our turnaround is typically within 10 days from when your film is picked up from one of our dropboxes.

    Film is picked up Wednesdays but may be picked up more frequently based on volume.

  • We develop and scan both new and expired C41 (color) and B&W (black & white) 35mm and 120, as well as disposable cameras in the SWFL area (Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Naples). For those outside of this area, we do have mail in options!

  • We LOVE disposable cameras and have the most affordable pricing in all of SWFL (Fort Myers, Cape Coral and Naples).

  • Expired film is always welcome! Whether it’s a roll you found at your parents house, a garage sale or ordered online.

    Expired film can have strong color casts and sometimes no images. Because of this, Homebrewed is not responsible for blank rolls of film.

  • What is Pushing / Pulling?

    Pushing: intentionally underexpose your film and develop it longer to brighten it (more contrast, more grain).
    Pulling: intentionally overexpose your film and develop it less to tone it down (softer contrast, finer grain).

    Homebrewed proudly offers the only C41 (color) pushing and pulling in SWFL, Fort Myers and Naples!

    We safely offer pushig (+1) and pulling (-1) but can do an additional stop or 2 upon request.

  • NSFW images will be sent via a secure and password protected Dropbox link, with the ability to edit and delete the images once downloaded.

    Homebrewed is a safespace for all and does not tolerate nonconensual images, anyone appearing under 18 or anything appearing to be illegal.

  • Homebrewed is cashless and accpets all major credit and debit cards, as well as Apple & Google pay for an easy and convenient checkout!
